In 2002, Erine Gray became the primary caregiver for his ill mother, who lived in upstate New York. From his Austin home he was researching services for his mom that could provide her with the care she needed.
It was then he thought about how helpful it would be to have all these services available in one place online, with the ability to search by a specific area. After working as a software developer for several years, he decided to use his programming skills for his own project, launching Aunt Bertha in 2010.
